Holt Sunday Market – Trader Terms & Conditions 2026
Thank you for your interest in trading at Holt Sunday Market. The following Terms & Conditions apply to all traders for the 2026 market season. Please read carefully before applying.
1. Market Overview
Holt Sunday Market is a curated event showcasing a diverse mix of quality food, craft, produce, art, vintage, design, and performance. Curation decisions rest solely with the organisers.
2. Booking & Payment Plan
To confirm your place at Holt Sunday Market 2026:
If your application is approved, you’ll be asked to pay your total pitch fees for the year in 1 to 10 monthly instalments.
Your first payment will be due as soon as you’re accepted.
Payments can be made by bank transfer or via Stripe.
How it works:
You’re accepted for X number of market dates. Your corresponding X number of payments begin from your date of acceptance.
This system helps us plan the market properly, obtain the required licences and ensures fairness and commitment from everyone involved.
Please note:
Payments must be made within 15 days of receiving your invoice.
A £20 late fee will apply to overdue payments.
Missed or failed payments may result in the loss of future pitch allocations.
3. Cancellation Policy
All payments are non-refundable.
If a market is cancelled due to weather, safety concerns, or other unforeseen events, we will make every effort to roll your booking forward to 2027.
However, no refunds will be given in these circumstances.
4. Stall Set-Up and Breakdown
Instructions are emailed to you approx. one week before an event
Pitches are pre-allocated and will be directed by a Market Marshal.
Set-up must be completed by 9.30am on market day. Vehicles are prohibited from entering the market after 9.15am.
Breakdown does not begin until 3pm. Vehicles are prohibited from entering the market before 3.15pm.
Trading hours are from 10am to 3pm unless otherwise notified.
All traders must bring their own gazebo/trailer/cover unless otherwise agreed.
5. Insurance & Compliance
All traders must hold valid Public Liability Insurance and provide a Risk Assessment.
Food traders must comply with local authority food hygiene regulations.
All electrical items must be PAT tested if used on site.
6. Conduct
Traders must act respectfully towards staff, fellow traders, and visitors.
The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry or ask any trader to leave without refund for breach of conduct or terms.
7. Waste & Cleanliness
Traders are responsible for leaving their pitch tidy and removing all waste.
Use of on-site bins is restricted unless otherwise agreed.
8. Marketing & Promotion
By trading with us, you consent to images of your stall/products being used in promotional materials for Holt Sunday Market.
9. Please note:
We are not a one-whip market. There may be other stalls like yours.
You can only sell items that you book in with your original application. If you wish to add further stock, you must email the team.
We expect you to publicise our markets through your own social media and websites.
There is a large amount of admin that goes into your booking. Please help us to keep YOUR costs down.
The Holt Independent Limited reserve the right to change our terms and conditions throughout 2026.
